Groups representing a broad range of Caribbean nationalities performed Friday night in the black box theater at Dance Mission Theater for the 2012 CubaCaribe Festival. The festival will continue with two shows on Sunday and next weekend withperformances by the Alayo Dance Company (of CubaCaribe) at the Museum of African Diaspora in San Francisco April 26 and at Laney College Theater in Oakland April 27-29. It was Hunky Jesus day at Dolores Park today. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a charitable queer organization, held their annual fundraiser/celebration and it culminated in the audience favorite, the Hunky Jesus Contest.
